You'll help strengthen our financial reporting, bring greater consistency across our entities, and turn manual ways of working into smarter, more efficient ones.\nIf you know what good Finance looks like but also enjoy helping build it, this could be a great next step!\nAbout the Role:\nAs Financial Controller, you'll work across our CWS entities alongside local Finance and Accounting teams and CWS Business Control. Your foundation will be Finance and accounting: improving closing quality, strengthening P&L and balance sheet control, and creating better visibility across areas such as receivables, inventory and cash flow.\nBut the role goes further than that.\nOur Finance landscape spans several entities with different processes and ways of working. You'll help us bring these closer together - understanding how things work today, identifying where we can simplify, and helping implement a more consistent way of working across CWS Finance.\nYou'll also take financial responsibility and coordination for selected entities, working closely with and supporting both our Head of Accounting and the local Finance Director in key processes. As we continue developing our use of technology, you'll have the opportunity to help turn new digital and AI-enabled ways of working into practical improvements within Finance.\nWhat you will do:\nSupport and strengthen month-end closing across CWS entities.\n\nImprove the quality and consistency of P&L and balance sheet reporting.\n\nFollow up and create better visibility around receivables, inventory and cash flow.\n\nTake financial responsibility and coordination for selected entities.\n\nSupport with the preparation of annual reports for CWS entities.\n\nWork closely with local Finance and Accounting teams to establish more consistent processes.\n\nReview existing ways of working and identify opportunities to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency.\n\nSupport the implementation of digital, automation and AI-enabled Finance use cases.\n\nContribute to building a more connected and scalable One CWS Finance organization.\n\nThe position is based in our Gothenburg office, where you'll be close to key Finance stakeholders.\nWe believe you have\nAt least 5 years of relevant experience within Finance, accounting or financial controlling, with a strong focus onmonth-end closing, P&L and balance sheet control.\n\nExperience working independently with financial processes and taking ownership from issue to solution.\n\nExperience with ERP systems such as Visma, Jeeves or similar platforms.\n\nThe confidence and integrity to challenge existing ways of working constructively.\n\nAn interest in improving processes and making Finance simpler, more consistent and efficient.\n\nStrong English and Swedish communication skills given the close collaboration with local Finance stakeholders.\n\nA genuine interest in AI, automation and new technology, ideally with experience using these tools beyond everyday administrative tasks.\n\nExperience with Power BI is a plus, but not a requirement.\n\nExperience from both a larger, structured organization and a smaller, fast-moving or scale-up environment is particularly interesting to us.
