These collaborations speed the execution of demonstration projects, effect expansion of successful pilot programs, and support rapid implementation to meet the public health needs of individuals, families, and communities across New York City.\nOur Culture \nWe embrace a culture of learning, collaboration, innovation, and well-being, where open communication drives our impact.\nAbout The Role \nWorkWell NYC seeks an independent and highly motivated Program Evaluation Fellow to provide monitoring and evaluation support for a variety of worksite wellness initiatives that aim to improve the health and well-being of City of New York employees.\nThe WorkWell NYC Program Evaluation Fellow will support program monitoring and evaluation through data entry, tracking program outcomes, and developing systematic reviews for relevant research. The position requires the candidate to work 20-25 hours per week (up to 25 hours) and will be compensated at a rate of $22-24/hour depending on experience. The candidate will begin as soon as possible and ideally commit for minimum of one year or through June 2027. Potential to extend the fellowship will be based on performance.\nAbout the Program \nWorkWell NYC is an innovative workplace wellness team servicing over 350,000 City of New York employees. WorkWell NYC supports agencies to develop workplace-based programming and innovative, sustainable workplace wellness infrastructure. WorkWell NYC offers Citywide programming in person and digitally — live and on-demand — in five areas: prevention and chronic conditions, physical fitness, mental well-being, nutrition, and health equity. \nResponsibilities \nProjects and responsibilities will include:\nWorking with the Program Evaluator to support successful monitoring and evaluation of workplace wellness programs (i.e. physical activity challenges, vaccination clinics, and chronic disease prevention)\nCompiling, entering and summarizing data\nCreate and present reports on summarized data for ongoing and completed programs\nResearching innovative and effective workplace wellness programming in relevant topic areas\nAttend staff meetings and other WorkWell NYC meetings as requested by their supervisor\nOther program support, as assigned\nRequirements\nHave a strong skill set in data entry and management, specifically in Microsoft Excel & Airtable; proficiency in other statistical software like Stata, R, SPSS is a plus\nBe highly attentive to detail and meticulous in data entry and management\nBe a highly motivated self-starter who is flexible and able to balance multiple assignments with deadlines\nHave taken at least one course each in program evaluation, statistics, and epidemiology\nHave previous experience with researching and developing systematic reviews\nHave previous experience with program monitoring and evaluation\nHave previous experience with the City of New York \nHave previous experience with health and wellness promotion programs\nAble to participate in external agency/site-based health forums (i.e., health fairs, educational programs) to promote and/or evaluate WorkWell NYC worksite programs\nPhysical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
