The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in managing cloud infrastructure and operations, with expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and networking, coupled with a strong understanding of AWS services, scripting languages, cloud integration/migration, and web hosting technologies. You will play a crucial role in maintaining, scaling, and optimizing our cloud environments.\nKey Responsibilities:\nKubernetes Management:\nManage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.\nHandle deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting of containerized applications.\n\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC):\nDesign, deploy, and manage infrastructure using Terraform.\nAutomate cloud resource provisioning, scaling, and de-provisioning.\n\nNetworking:\nManage and troubleshoot networking solutions, including routing, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs.\nEnsure secure and efficient network connectivity for cloud-hosted applications.\n\nActive Directory & DNS Management:\nConfigure and maintain Active Directory (AD) environments.\nImplement and manage Group Policy objects (GPOs) to ensure a secure and efficient user environment.\nManage DNS services within AD for internal network name resolution and ensure proper configuration and functionality.\n\nAWS Expertise:\nManage and optimize AWS infrastructure resources, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPCs.\nUtilize AWS Application Services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, and Kinesis Data Firehose.\nConfigure and manage Route 53 for DNS management, including hosted zones, record sets, and domain routing.\n\nDatabase Management:\nManage and maintain MSSQL and other database systems, including deployment, backup, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.\n\nWeb Hosting:\nConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot web hosting solutions using Apache and Nginx.\nEnsure high availability, security, and performance of hosted applications and websites.\n\nScripting & Automation:\nDevelop and maintain scripts using Bash and Windows scripting to automate routine tasks.\nTroubleshoot and debug existing scripts to ensure reliability.\n\nProgramming Knowledge:\nRead, analyze, and troubleshoot code in Python, Java, and JavaScript to support development teams and resolve issues.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nMinimum 2 years of cloud/networking experience.\nExpertise in AWS Infrastructure Resources, including Route 53 for DNS management.\nExperience with AWS Application Services.\nExperience managing MSSQL databases and their operations.\nProficiency in Terraform for managing infrastructure as code.\nProficiency in Bash and Windows scripting for task automation.\nBasic proficiency in reading and troubleshooting Python, Java, and JavaScript.\nPreferred Skills:\nStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.\nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.\nKnowledge of security best practices
