a point of escalation and support to L1 Engineers/System Engineers.\n\nPerform routine system administration duties in a Windows Active Directory environment.\n\nMonitor Windows and VMware servers and troubleshoot problems.\n\nInstall, configure, maintain, and repair server operating systems and server hardware.\n\nInstall and configure OS on physical servers and virtual machines.\n\nManage Exchange 2019 and Exchange Online.\n\nManage and troubleshoot ESXi and virtual servers.\n\nAdminister and support the VMware platform.\n\nMonitor ESXi servers and troubleshoot problems.\n\nPerform VM creation, templates, snapshots, and VM backup.\n\nManage and support VMware vSphere environments, including vMotion, HA, DRS, and ESXi deployments.\n\nResponsible for the operations and upkeep of private and shared virtualized environments.\n\nParticipate in new implementations and work closely with other virtualization engineers to maintain current environments.\n\nAct as a technical escalation point within Central Operations for virtualization-specific issues.\n\nImplement and support processes and systems required to deliver highly available virtualization platforms.\n\nPerform vulnerability assessment remediation and fixing of findings for new and existing servers.\n\nParticipate in regular server patching activities.\n\nManage server hardware, including Dell and Lenovo servers.\n\nPerform firmware updates and configure remote management tools for physical servers.\n\nConfigure RAID on physical servers.\n\nAnalyze and troubleshoot basic hardware issues.\n\nProvide additional support when necessary for backup and storage functions.\n\nProduce and maintain appropriate documentation for server deployment, configuration, application deployment, virtualization environments, and related processes.\n\nCreate documentation for environments, processes, technical training, and support procedures.\n\nProvide training and technical leadership to Tier I personnel.\n\nDrive efficient and effective resolution of customer issues.\n\nParticipate in weekend maintenance activities, as required.\n\nParticipate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage of critical issues and internal systems.\n\nRequirementsIn-depth knowledge and experience with Windows Servers, particularly Windows Server 2019 and 2022.\n\nStrong working knowledge of:\nActive Directory\n\nDNS\n\nDHCP\n\nFile & Print Servers\n\nMicrosoft Cluster\n\nServer Backup\n\nAD Federated Services\n\nWindows PowerShell\n\nWorking experience supporting, maintaining, and administering core VMware technologies.\n\nVMware vSphere 8.x experience or significant exposure to VMware vSphere and its features, including vMotion, HA, DRS, and ESXi deployments.\n\nExperience with VM creation, templates, snapshots, and VM backup.\n\nExperience managing and troubleshooting ESXi and virtual servers.\n\nExperience managing Exchange 2019 and Exchange Online.\n\nExperience with Dell and Lenovo server hardware.\n\nKnowledge of firmware updates and remote management tool configuration for physical servers.\n\nExperience installing and configuring operating systems on physical servers and virtual machines.\n\nKnowledge of RAID configuration on physical servers.\n\nBasic skills in analyzing and troubleshooting hardware issues.\n\nMust have experience performing enterprise-level project implementation and support.\n\nMust have strong working and technical knowledge.\n\nExcellent customer service and telephone skills, with experience in a professional services environment supporting multiple applications and network environments.\n\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\n\nVery strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\n\nAt least 2–4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.\n\nWillingness to participate in weekend maintenance activities and an on-call rotation to support 24/7 coverage of critical issues and internal
