Responsibilities\nProduct Management & Strategy\nManage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.\nDevelop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.\nTranslate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and product specifications.\nPrioritise product features, enhancements, and backlog items based on business value, technical feasibility, and operational requirements.\nIdentify opportunities to improve existing applications, workflows, and user experiences.\nProject Delivery & Application Maintenance\nOversee the delivery and maintenance of enterprise applications, ensuring agreed timelines, quality standards, and service requirements are met.\nManage complex and large-scale application maintenance projects involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.\nCoordinate application enhancements, system upgrades, defect resolution, and production support activities.\nMonitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.\nEnsure appropriate change management, testing, deployment, and release management processes are followed.\nWork closely with technical teams to resolve operational challenges and maintain application stability.\nStakeholder & Vendor Management\nEngage business users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements and align expectations.\nAct as the key liaison between business stakeholders, application development teams, and external vendors.\nFacilitate discussions, project meetings, requirement workshops, and progress reviews.\nMonitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with agreed deliverables and service levels.\nProvide regular project updates, status reports, and recommendations to management.\nGovernance & Continuous Improvement\nEnsure product and project activities comply with organisational policies, security requirements, and IT governance standards.\nIdentify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.\nMonitor product performance, service quality, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.\nMaintain accurate project documentation, product specifications, and operational records.\nSupport the adoption of Agile practices and structured project management methodologies.\nJob Requirements\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.\nProven experience in product management, IT project management, or application development and support.\nDemonstrated experience managing complex or large-scale application maintenance projects.\nStrong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), application maintenance, and IT service delivery.\nExperience working with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and multiple business stakeholders.\nFamiliarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.\nExperience managing project timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables.\nTechnical & Professional Skills\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\nAbility to translate business requirements into actionable technical and functional specifications.\nGood understanding of enterprise application architecture, system integration, and software delivery processes.\nKnowledge of application support, incident management, change management, and release management.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or equivalent.\nITIL certification or practical experience in IT service management.\nExperience working on large-scale enterprise applications or public sector digital transformation projects.\nFamiliarity with vendor management, service-level agreements (SLAs), and application maintenance contracts.\nExperience with product and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Project.\nSkills\nIT Project & Program Management, Information
