Candidates based in or around Prague, Czech Republic are preferred.\nTasks\nTake end-to-end application responsibility for assigned ADAS functions.\nAnalyze functional and performance requirements.\nDevelop and maintain function-specific application and tuning guidelines.\nIdentify, calibrate and maintain application parameters and datasets.\nPerform bench and virtual validation before vehicle deployment.\nExecute prototype vehicle application, calibration and tuning.\nPlan and execute vehicle measurement and validation campaigns.\nAnalyze CAN/CAN-FD traces, diagnostics, measurements and functional deviations.\nInvestigate vehicle issues and perform structured root-cause analysis.\nSupport multiple SW releases and vehicle variants.\nExplain parameter changes, tuning decisions and function behavior directly to customer engineering teams.\nSupport customer reviews, test drives and acceptance activities.\nParticipate in vehicle campaigns in Germany and potentially other international markets.\nRequirements\n4+ years of automotive engineering experience.\nHands-on experience with ADAS application, calibration, vehicle integration or function development.\nStrong experience in at least one area:Driving / ACC / Travel Assist, Active Safety / AEB, Parking, or Vision.\n\nPractical experience working directly with prototype or development vehicles.\nExperience with CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer, INCA or comparable automotive tools.\nStrong CAN/CAN-FD and automotive diagnostics knowledge.\nAbility to independently perform vehicle measurements, analyze behavior and tune parameters.\nGood English communication skills.\nValid driving licence and ability to obtain the required VW Group prototype/test-vehicle driving authorization.\nHighly preferred\nExisting valid VW Group prototype/test-vehicle driving authorization / prototype driving licence.\nCandidates who already possess the required authorization to drive VW Group development/prototype vehicles will be strongly preferred, particularly for the Germany-based positions.\nAlso beneficial:\nPrevious VW Group project experience\nGerman language\nUDS diagnostics\nPython\nHIL/SIL/virtual validation\nCamera, radar, ultrasonic or surround-view experience\nGSR / Euro NCAP experience\nBenefits\nAttractive offer package with annual bonus payment\n30 days of vacation\nProfessional workplace in modern offices, possibilities of mobile office\nA pleasant and flat hierarchy working environment with experienced teams\nDiverse career opportunities through a comprehensive range of training and further education\nCompany - sponsored pension scheme\nDiverse company events\nFPT is committed to an inclusive society in which all human rights and fundamental freedoms are respected and upheld.
