Responsibilities\nArchitecture & Design\nLead the design and implementation of cloud-native architectures for enterprise and digital workloads.\nDefine and maintain cloud reference architectures, reusable patterns, and engineering standards.\nReview solution architectures and provide recommendations across scalability, reliability, high availability, performance, security, and cost optimisation.\nDrive the adoption of AWS cloud best practices across projects and platforms.\nPartner with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.\nSupport cloud transformation and modernisation initiatives.\nEngineering Execution\nTranslate cloud architecture designs into working technical solutions.\nDesign and implement GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.\nBuild and manage AWS infrastructure and services, including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, ELB, RDS, EFS, FSx, S3, KMS, Secrets Manager, EventBridge, and CloudWatch.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using CloudFormation and Terraform.\nDevelop scripts and automation using Python, Ansible, Bash, and PowerShell.\nImplement and support container-based deployments and orchestration platforms.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues across production and non-production environments.\nParticipate in root cause analysis and recommend preventive and corrective actions.\nCloud Security & Governance\nEnsure cloud solutions comply with established security and governance standards.\nDesign and implement secure cloud architectures based on principles such as least-privilege access, encryption at rest and in transit, secrets management, and identity and access controls.\nImplement and support cloud security controls using IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, security monitoring, and network security controls.\nCollaborate with Security and Risk teams to address audit findings and compliance requirements.\nSupport cloud governance initiatives, including policy implementation and cloud guardrails.\nBasic Qualifications\n7–8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or related roles.\nStrong hands-on expertise with AWS services, including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, ELB, RDS, EFS, FSx, S3, KMS, Secrets Manager, EventBridge, CloudWatch, and IAM.\nStrong understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, routing, and network security controls.\nSolid understanding of container-based deployments, orchestration, and lifecycle management.\nProficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Ansible, Bash, or PowerShell.\nStrong experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tools, including GitLab, CloudFormation, and Terraform.\nProven ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-optimised cloud architectures.\n- Strong understanding of cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, secrets management, and access controls.\n- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance-tuning capabilities.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and management teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty.\nExperience with AWS AI and Generative AI services, including Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock Agents, AgentCore, or related capabilities.\nExperience with Kubernetes and container platforms.\nExperience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch.\nFamiliarity with multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).\nExperience working in high-availability, enterprise, or regulated environments.\nSkills\nAzure Security, Cloud Administration,
