Job Title: SAP BW/ABAP OOPS Developer

Experience: 5 to 9 years

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP BW/ABAP OOPS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in SAP BW and ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS). As an SAP BW/ABAP OOPS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP BW and ABAP solutions to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance SAP BW solutions for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

• Create and optimize SAP BW data models and InfoCubes for efficient data storage and retrieval.

• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Design, develop, and implement ABAP programs using Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts to meet business needs.

• Perform performance tuning and optimization of existing ABAP programs and data models to ensure optimal system performance.

• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to integrate SAP BW and ABAP solutions with other SAP modules and external systems.

• Provide technical expertise and support during system upgrades, enhancements, and migration projects.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance guidelines.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BW/ABAP solutions and provide timely resolutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5 to 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP BW and ABAP OOPS development.

• Proficient in SAP BW data modeling, extraction, and reporting.

• Strong expertise in ABAP programming using OOPS concepts, BAPIs, BADI, and user exits.

• Experience with SAP HANA and performance optimization techniques is a plus.

• Familiarity with SAP integration technologies like IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services.

• Solid understanding of SAP functional modules and integration with ABAP solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
