Fractal has been featured as a Great Place to Work by The Economic Times in partnership with the Great Place to Work® Institute and recognized as a ‘Cool Vendor’ and a ‘Vendor to Watch’ by Gartner.\nPlease visitFractal | Intelligence for Imagination for more information about Fractal.\nJob Title: Senior Data Scientist (Census Automation)\nRole Overview\nExperience as a tech lead or main developer implementing, deploying, and maintaining production solutions\nAgentic systems design and implementation (tool use, orchestration frameworks, multi-step reasoning workflows)\nLLMs, prompt engineering, evaluation, observability/monitoring\nAWS services \nPython\nCI/CD pipeline\nKey Responsibilities\nLead end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of production-grade AI solutions.\nDesign and implement agentic AI systems, including tool integrations, orchestration frameworks, and multi-step reasoning workflows.\nDevelop and optimize solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and observability/monitoring practices.\nBuild scalable applications and automation workflows using Python and AWS services.\nEstablish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployment and continuous improvement of AI solutions.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nProven experience as a Tech Lead or primary developer delivering production solutions.\nStrong expertise in Agentic AI systems and orchestration frameworks.\nHands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and monitoring.\nProficiency in Python development.\nExperience with AWS cloud services.\nStrong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.\nPay\nThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $110,000 - $140,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.\nBenefits:\nAs a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time.
