Position Overview:
We areseekinga highly analytical and business-savvysenior decision scientist, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our retail strategy.
This is a techno-functional role that requires a unique blend of technicalexpertise, business acumen, and stakeholder management. You will work at the intersection of data science and business operations, partnering closely with sales leaders, retailaccountmanagers, product teams, and marketing strategists to uncover insights that drive performance across our retail channels.
Your work will directly influence how we sell our next-generation wearable products-whether through physical retail stores, e-commerce platforms, or omnichannel experiences. You will be responsibleto supportthe leadership toidentifygrowth opportunities,optimizethe sales funnel, and enabling leadershipandmake informed decisions based on robust data analysis. Key Responsibilities:
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and present findings to senior leadership.
- Build andmaintaindashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs and provide real-time visibility into sales performance.
-Apply quantitativeanalysis, and visualization to uncover insights across the retail sales funnel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, retail operations, marketing, and product to define high-impact use cases and support data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze retail performance metrics, including store-level sales, conversion rates, inventory turnover, and customer segmentation.
-Identifyand evaluate growth levers such as pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, and channel performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in analytics processes through automation, tooling enhancements, and best practices.
Must-Have Skills:
-Domain Knowledge:Understanding ofretail operations, consumer sales, and omnichannel strategies. Familiarity with wearable tech products and their sales dynamics is a plus.
- Technical Expertise:ProficiencyinAI tools,SQL and Python for data analysisand build automations; experience with relational databases and statistical methods (e.g., hypothesistesting, forecasting, causal inference).
-Business Acumen: Ability to connect data insights to business strategy and communicate recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
-Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives for executive audiences.
-Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholder relationships.
Good to Have Skills:
-Understanding ofsupply chain analytics and inventory optimization.
- Exposure to machine learning models for sales forecasting or customer segmentation.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments or with consumer electronics.
