The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and operations teams to ensure successful software delivery. The successful candidate will support both manual and automated testing activities, with hands-on TOSCA experience being highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess strong testing fundamentals, experience in integration testing, and a proactive approach to driving process improvements and supporting application modernization initiatives.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nTranslate business requirements and functional specifications into test scenarios and system configurations. \nDesign, execute, and maintain functional, integration, and regression test cases (manual and automated). \nSupport implementation and validation of new software releases. \nConfigure system settings based on business requirements. \nValidate application functionality and troubleshoot test issues. \nExecute integration testing across systems and applications. \nIdentify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution. \nSupport deployments and post-release validation activities. \nCollaborate with business and technology stakeholders to clarify software functionality and requirements. \nCollaborate with developers and business analysts during sprint cycles. \nProvide recommendations for improvements in testing processes and test automation. \nPrepare test documentation, execution reports, and knowledge transfer materials. \nSupport software deployments and production verification activities. \nIdentify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and quality. \nTechnical Skills:\n5-6+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Engineering roles. \nProven expertise in manual, functional, integration, and regression testing across complex application landscapes. \nStrong understanding of software quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, and best practices. \nHands-on experience with test automation tools, with TOSCA experience considered a significant advantage. \nExperience working within Agile, Scrum, and DevOps delivery models, supporting continuous testing and delivery practices. \nProficiency in testing and project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or equivalent platforms. \nSolid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect lifecycle management, and quality governance processes. \nStrong capability in test planning, test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting. \nAbility to analyze complex systems, identify risks, and drive effective resolution of testing and quality-related issues. \nExperience within Banking, Cards, Payments, or Financial Services environments is highly desirable. \nDemonstrates a continuous learning mindset and stays ahead of emerging technologies, industry trends, and evolving testing practices. \n\nNon-Technical Skills:\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English. \nStrong analytical thinking and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. \nAbility to translate complex concepts into clear, business-friendly language for non-technical audiences. \nHigh attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality outcomes. \nEffective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver across multiple commitments. \nSelf-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. \nStrong team player who fosters collaboration and contributes positively to group objectives. \nDemonstrates curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. \nIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!\nNot the right fit?
