With us, anticipate engaging and challenging projects that deliver innovative solutions and value-added technologies helping power more than 38 million North American homes.\nWhat You’ll Do Day-To-Day\nPerform standard and non-standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks resolution of field problems and resolution of quality events. \nSolve a range of straightforward problems, analyze solutions and assess each using standard procedures. \nEnsure compliance with government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards with support of senior staff.\n Independently evaluate, select and apply standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications for tasks previously performed.\nPreferred Skills:\nTechnical Knowledge: Deep understanding of nuclear materials, such as stainless steels, zirconium alloys, castings, ceramics (nuclear fuels), etc. Also, cognizant of industry standards, best practices, manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies.\nProblem-solving / Decision-making: Adept at analyzing complex problems and making informed decisions and ability to think critically, evaluate alternatives and propose effective solutions to technical challenges.\nCommunication / Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate with team members, other departments, customers, vendors, and different levels of management and ability to convey technical information clearly, listen actively, and foster open lines of communication.\nProject management: Plan, organize, and execute projects to ensure engineering tasks are completed within budget, schedule, and are of high quality.\nInnovation: Aware of state-of-the-art developments within the nuclear industry and able to propose new developments, ideas, and methodologies to advance Framatome's R&D portfolio, specifically in the area of nuclear material applications.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering.Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted. \n\nMinimum of 2 years of related experience.\nKnowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria. \nGood communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data. \nAbility to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. \nGood problem identification and problem resolution skills. \nExhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking. \nAdvanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.\nTotal Rewards Package\nTotal Rewards Package\nSalary: $88,000 - $95,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline.
