What You’ll Do Day-To-Day
- HVAC troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair experience in an industrial or commercial setting (chillers, air handlers, compressors, ventilation systems)
- Fork truck (sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach truck) operation experience with demonstrated safe material handling practices
- Working knowledge of plumbing systems including installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of piping, valves, fixtures, and drainage systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for mechanical and facility systems
- Preventive and predictive maintenance experience, including lubrication, inspections, and equipment reliability checks
- Basic electrical knowledge (motors, controls, sensors, and wiring) to support cross-functional maintenance tasks
- Welding and fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, or stick) for equipment repair and modification
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices in an industrial environment
- Experience working in a regulated industry (nuclear, manufacturing, or energy) with strict procedural compliance
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced maintenance environment
What You'll Bring
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience is required.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings, understand mechanical symbols and use hand tools related to the job.
- Ability to analyze and identify problem.
- Good communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
Total Rewards Package
- Salary: $24.70 - $32.30 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
