With us, anticipate engaging and challenging projects that deliver innovative solutions and value-added technologies helping power more than 38 million North American homes.\nWhat You’ll Do Day-To-Day\nInspects, repairs and rebuilds mechanical and/or electrical equipment and associated structures. \nEnsures that industrial and radiation safety requirements are followed. \nAnalyzes equipment breakdowns, determines the proper corrective action, and direct repairs. \nPlans work schedules to accomplish required work and, when required, assign priorities. \nDevelops, implements and maintains in-service inspection, testing and maintenance programs. \nSupports and conducts nondestructive examination (NDE) and QC inspections. \nResearches, interprets and explains inspection results. \nMaintains documentation to meet customer obligations and ensure proper test methodologies are in place. \nComplies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance. \nWorks flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service. \nMay require extensive travel to a variety of regional and remote job sites. \nMay/Will require unescorted nuclear site access. \nTechnical certifications to be acquired: NDE Technician: Must record all experience gained, be LVL II in at least 2 disciplines and LVL III in 1 discipline; Leadership: Must attend at least one leadership course per year, fill a leadership role and have GEN712.0 Framatome Nuclear Services Oral Board.\nWhat You'll Bring\nHigh School diploma or equivalent education\nMinimum of 18 years of related experience and NDE Advanced Technician requisites* is required. \nNDE Advanced Technician requisites met: NDE Technician: Must record all experience gained, be LVL 2 in at least 2 disciplines and LVL III in 1 discipline; Leadership: should have demonstrated leadership experience or training, filled a leadership role and had GEN712.0 Framatome Nuclear Services Oral Board (for external candidates, successful completion within a defined agreed period of time at hire).\nExpert knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, procedures and concepts in a particular field. \nTypically requires specific nuclear reactor plant maintenance qualification training and certification.\nKnowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs, as required for specific roles. \nGood communication skills to comprehend, follow direction, convey detailed technical data and work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.\nTotal Rewards Package\nTotal Rewards Package\nSalary: $61.00 - $80.00 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline.
