You will work with the Nondestructive Examinations (NDE) Engineering organization, which designs tooling and complex robotic systems to perform inspections of nuclear plants around the world! Our focus is on visual, ultrasonic, and eddy current exams. This role is a unique opportunity for someone who likes the idea of seeing lots of complex robotic systems get designed, built, and used every year!\nWhat You’ll Do Day-To-Day\nWork as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team that includes mechanical, electrical and software engineers.\nCreate first-of-a-kind solutions to meet customer needs and respond to emergent issues.\nSupport design of systems that must operate in challenging environments while meeting rigid quality requirements.\nPerform software development for various control systems.\nParticipate in all aspects of the software development life cycle.\nSupport tooling qualification and acceptance testing.\nProvide technical support for newly deployed robotic systems.\nPeriodically travel to customer sites to see your designs put into action.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. \nMinimum of 2 years of related experience. \nKnowledge of fundamental concept, practices and procedures in the area of specialization. \nUnderstanding of network protocols and application deployment across environments. \nExperience with C++ and/or C#.\nExperience with Linux and Windows Development.\nExperience with MFC and/or .NET\nAbility to diagnose and resolve fundamental technical issues. \nGood communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management. \nAbility to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. \nAbility to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team. \nTotal Rewards Package\nSalary: $77,000 - $100,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline.
