We are looking for a supervisor who can bring their previous Advertising experience to enhance our world-class team.\nAbout the role\nThe 2D Supervisor plays a key role in driving the compositing work for our Advertising projects, overseeing the compositing team and the quality of the work. Working closely with the project’s Visual Effects Supervisor / Creative Director, CG Supervisor and Producer the Compositing Supervisor communicates, supervises and delegates the compositing needs of the project(s) to the compositing team.\nThe 2D Lead/ Supervisor leads by example and maintains a hands-on compositing role, but also takes on project specific duties including monitoring shot and overall project progress. The overall aim for the 2D Supe is to build and lead a team that is motivated and enthusiastic, where there are opportunities for each compositor to learn, grow and produce great work.\nKey to this role is an interest in working in Advertising, as well as an interest on a broad range and variety of projects.\nThis role would be working on a hybrid work model with some days in office and some days remote, ideal candidates will be based within a commutable distance to our London office.\nWhat you’ll do:\nSolve any difficult technical and artistic compositing challenges\n\nWork closely with the production team to bid and schedule work\n\nAttend client reviews and lead daily reviews with the compositing team\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nBrief/mentor junior/mid/senior level talent and cast shots appropriately\n\nWork proactively and collaboratively with all other VFX and support departments\n\nBalance the creative and technical aspects of each shot/sequence\n\nColour pipeline management and 2D workflow as it integrates with DI, CG and DMP\n\nRequirements\nCritical eye for detail and a beautiful compositing showreel\n\n8+ years experience in compositing across advertising projects\n\nAble to work well under pressure\n\nProven artist management and leadership skills\n\nExperience recruiting and building up a 2D team\n\nHighly organised\n\nSolid negotiation skills\n\nLighting photography core skills\n\nOn set VFX supervision experience is a plus\n\nExpert knowledge of Nuke\n\nAccessibility Statement\nOur London studio is fully accessible, with step-free entry, accessible toilets on all floors, and quiet spaces available.
