The main focus of the VFX Production Coordinator is to manage and implement tasks and targets crucial to the delivery of projects on time and on budget.\nWhat you’ll do\nUnder the supervision of the VFX Producer, Leads and Supervisors track and manage the workflow through the CG department, meeting internal and external deadlines\n\nOrganize dailies, rounds and meetings, taking notes and following up on information as necessary\n\nOversee data movement of any project references, cad data etc for artist's use\n\nMonitoring of WIP updates from the nuke team to the hiero editorial pipeline, and final WIPs to DI House\n\nEnsure production database (Shotgun/Shotgrid) is kept updated daily with notes and critical information\n\nCommunicate information quickly and succinctly to crew and other departments\n\nAnticipate and communicate issues to the Producer and Supervisor to resolve problems quickly\n\nOversee the execution of client deliveries, including creation of qt's and deliverables via Shotgun\n\nWork closely with the Crewing and Resource Manager in resourcing the CG/2D team appropriately with freelancers when needed, ensuring that all projects are scheduled correctly with resources\n\nMaintain our global project scheduling system - CETA - working closely with the Scheduling team\n\nHelp to maintain a positive, upbeat and professional production office, being proactive and solution-orientated\n\nRequirements\nPrevious experience as a VFX PA or Coordinator in advertising, TV, or feature films\n\nExisting knowledge of Framestore production databases (e.g. Shotgun)\n\nHighly organized and detailed\n\nSolid time/project management skills\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nAbility to prioritize conflicting tasks when needed\n\nAble to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment\n\nAble to work within a team towards a common goal\n\nBasic understanding of live-action, CG and Nuke based visual effects workflows\n\nBasic understanding of common file formats and resolutions\n\nGood knowledge of MS Office packages (including Word, Excel and Project)\n\nMust have valid US work authorization\n\nNew York City Employees: Pay Range: $27 - $32 per hour.\nThe posted range describes the minimum to maximum range for this job description in the state of New York.
