This includes, but not limited to, storage, networking, workstations, cloud, virtualisation and rendering. We invest time into training and mentoring. Framestore awaits you!\nThe position\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Systems Support Administrator will be part of the Systems Support team. They act as an escalation point for the IT Support team which is also part of the Systems Support team supporting studios across North America.\nEscalation support for all incidents and requests using JIRA service desk\n\nSupport of storage requests\n\nMonitors and maintains a variety of physical and logical systems\n\nAdministration of the OS images and Linux/Windows application packages.\n\nManagement of the Licences servers and services\n\nSupport of the Render farm (software)\n\nSupport and administration of enterprise storage platforms and file systems.\n\nMonitor system health, performance, and infrastructure alerts using monitoring tools such as Grafana and Nagios.\n\nWorks independently and in teams on administrative and technical projects\n\nProduce and update documentation using Confluence\n\nCollaborate with other technology teams on various projects and to support artists workflows and production requirements\n\nYou will partake in an on-call rotation to provide support outside working hours.\n\nRequirements\nWhat we’re looking for:\n3+ years in a level 1 IT position or similar role\n\nHands-on hardware experience; builds, upgrades, repairs.\n\nOS (Redhat based, Windows and OSX) and application support and deployment\n\nActive Directory management\n\nBasic scripting language (Powershell, Bash, Python)\n\nBasic knowledge of Git/version control workflows.\n\nUnderstanding of enterprise storage architecture and file systems (GPFS, Isilon, ZFS).\n\nVMware ESXi administration and virtualization fundamentals.\n\nStrong experience in a customer-facing role.\n\nStrong self-guided problem-solving skills\n\nA commitment to teamwork\n\nProven ability to adapt and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\nYou might also have:\nConfiguration Management and Automation\n\nWindows Systems administration, patch management, and deployment\n\nNetworking (Layer2, Layer3, including dynamic routing and VPN tunnels)\n\nBackup and storage management\n\nFamiliarity with render farm infrastructure and VFX production environments.\n\nExposure to cloud-based infrastructure and hybrid environments.\n\nApplication Process\nTo apply, please complete the linked application form.
