So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.\nWhat you will do\nPerform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, commissioning and service activities on marine equipment and systems, including FRAMO pumping systems.\n\nPrepare service jobs for efficient execution in accordance with established procedures and service standards.\n\nTravel worldwide to vessels, shipyards and customer locations, including sailing with vessels when required.\n\nDiagnose electrical and control system faults, as well as hydraulic and mechanical issues, and provide effective technical solutions.\n\nEnsure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company and customer requirements.\n\nDocument findings, actions and recommendations in detailed service reports, and register your working hours and expenses.\n\nObtain customer sign-off and maintain professional communication throughout service assignments.\n\nProvide technical advice to customers and feedback to internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement.\n\nMaintain a high level of product knowledge and technical competence.\n\nHow you grow into the role\nYou start with visual inspections of FRAMO pumping systems, automation, hydraulic control systems and hydraulic oil quality. This work mainly takes place in the ports of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp, with jobs lasting 1 to 3 days. As you gain experience, you will carry out maintenance and repairs on your own at customer locations all over the world, from the North Cape to Cape Town and from Ireland to Türkiye. This includes both scheduled maintenance and fixing unexpected breakdowns, with assignments lasting 1 to 2 weeks.\nWhat you bring\nA technical education at MBO level, preferably in electrical engineering.\n\nA strong focus on service and customers.\n\nAn interest in pumping systems and shipping.\n\nGood English, both spoken and written.\n\nWillingness to travel worldwide and to sail with vessels when required.\n\nFlexibility: no 9-to-5 mentality, and reasonable availability on weekends and public holidays by arrangement.\n\nA positive, enthusiastic attitude.
