As part of the HR team, you will partner closely with our HR Director to manage the benefits and wellness plans within the Firm.\nIND123\nResponsibilities\nServe as primary contact for employees, respond to benefits inquiries on plan provisions, enrollment, status changes and other general inquiries\nProvide customer service support to internal and external customers including carriers and third party administrators\nEffectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities. Partner with leave administrators to process employee LOA’s\nAdminister the firm’s workers compensation program and process ergonomic requests\nEnsure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information\nProcess life events within the HRIS\nEnsure timeliness and accuracy of required billing reconciliation, reporting and fees\nDevelop communication tools to enhance the understanding of the firm’s benefits package\nOversee maintenance of employee benefits, maintain HRIS and update employee payroll records as needed\nAssist with orientations and open enrollment by designing, presenting and distributing materials to stakeholders\nPartner with payroll team to perform quality checks of benefits-related data\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations concerning benefits administration, including compliance reporting for carriers\nCollaborate with HR leadership to align benefits programs with organizational goals and employee needs\nConduct regular audits of benefits plans to ensure accuracy and effectiveness\nOther tasks or duties as assigned\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field\n3-5 years of experience in benefits administration or a related area\nExperience in UKG required\nExperience with Cocoon or another external leave administrator preferred\nStrong knowledge of benefits regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, and ACA\nExperience with open enrollment\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively\nProficiency in HRIS and benefits management software\nAbility to be flexible and change direction quickly\nThe expected salary range for this position is $130,000 - $140,000 per year.
