As a full system manufacturer, distributor and program management partner, we supply global chains in the quick-service restaurant, convenience store and supermarket segments, helping to manage unit growth and upgrade their facilities.\nAbout the job\nProvide technical leadership for manufacturing processes across the plant, ensuring validation, stability, standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement.\nResponsible for defining, validating, optimizing, and controlling manufacturing processes including process documentation, time standards, NPI follow-up, product transfers, layout definition, tooling validation, operational support, and Value Engineering initiatives.\nEnsure processes are technically robust, cost-effective, safe, repeatable, and aligned with Franke global standards.\nYour tasks\nProcess Engineering & Validation\nLead validation and development of manufacturing processes (Laser Cutting, Punching, Press Brakes, Deburring, Fastener Insertion, Welding, Polishing, Assembly).\nDevelop, validate, and implement technical documentation (SOP, JSI, WI, VA).\nValidate new processes and product documentation during NPI and product transfers.\nValidate process/product changes derived from ECR or internal updates.\nImplement global standards into local manufacturing processes.\nCoordinate Ramp-Up activities (Punching, Laser, Part Marker, Assembly).\nProvide technical leadership in special projects (Rollout, Showroom, NPI).\nTime Standards & Process Modeling (Core Responsibility)\nVerify standard production times against real shop-floor times through time studies and process validation.\nBreak down manufacturing processes into measurable operations and catalog them within the time calculation tool and ERP/PBS system.\nDefine and validate Manufacturing and Setup Times for new products.\nSupport costing, capacity planning, and labor efficiency calculations through accurate time standards.\nEfficiency & Productivity\nAnalyze productivity indicators (EFF, labor hours, takt time, capacity).\nLead line balancing initiatives and capacity optimization projects.\nIdentify bottlenecks and propose labor and method improvements.\nLead SMED and setup reduction initiatives.\nCoordinate projects to increase production efficiency and maintain stable processes.\nLayout & Industrial Engineering\nDefine and update productive layouts.\nDesign material flow and workstation configuration.\nCoordinate layout modifications for NPI, rollouts, and production changes.\nIntegrate ergonomic and safety principles into layout design.\nTooling, Fixtures & Equipment\nEvaluate fixtures, tools, and consumables from technical and economic perspectives.\nDesign and validate assembly fixtures and templates.\nValidate new equipment and process improvements.\nProvide technical support to specialized machines (CNC Laser, Press Brakes, Spot, Plasma, TIG, deburring machines).\nSupport technical introduction of new technologies.\nProcess Control, Quality & Audits\nCoordinate process audits across manufacturing areas.\nLead root cause analysis for scrap, rework, and deviations (5 Why, Ishikawa).\nPrepare and support internal audits.\nSupport preventive product reviews during transfers.\nRequirements\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
