As a full system manufacturer, distributor and program management partner, we supply global chains in the quick-service restaurant, convenience store and supermarket segments, helping to manage unit growth and upgrade their facilities.\n About the job\nResponsible for calculating federal taxes (VAT, IT and withholdings) and making sure taxes are paid in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with tax obligations.\nYour tasks\nTax Compliance and Reporting: Preparation and timely filing of monthly and annual tax returns, including VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Taxes, DIOT and electronic accounting requirements.\nTax Payments and Reconciliations: Calculation of monthly tax liabilities, preparation of supporting workpapers, and reconciliation between accounting records and tax returns.\nTax Refunds and Tax Authority Requirements: Preparation and follow-up of tax refund claims, as well as support in responding to information requests from tax authorities.\nTax Audits and Support: Support the Tax Coordinator in handling and following up on external audits, including the preparation and collection of required information.\nTax Control and Regulatory Compliance: Monitor tax deadlines, changes in tax laws and regulations, SAT product/service classifications, and maintain supporting documentation for tax compliance.\nCross-functional Tax Support and Collaboration: Participate in and provide support on tax matters with Finance, Accounting, HR, Operations and other departments, following the guidelines established by the Tax Coordinator.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting\n2 - 3 years of experience in Mexican tax compliance.\nKnowledge of VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Taxes, DIOT and electronic accounting requirements.\nExperience preparing tax calculations, anual income tax, reconciliations, supporting workpapers and VAT refunds.\nKnowledge of SAT requirements and tax compliance procedures.\nIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills.\nStrong analytical, organizational and attention-to-detail skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively with Finance, Accounting, HR, Operations and other departments.\nExperience with SAP or similar ERP systems.\nExperience supporting VAT refund claims and tax authority information requests.\nExperience supporting external tax audits.\nPrevious experience in a multinational or manufacturing environment.\nIntermediate English proficiency, both written and spoken.\nKnowledge of SAT product and service classification codes.\nWhat we offer you\nWe offer a comprehensive compensation package, including salary, benefits, and career development opportunities.\nContact details\nFor more information see: www.franke.com\n\nImportant information for all executive search companies, headhunters and HR consultants\nThe Franke Group does not accept unsolicited support from headhunters and personnel consultants for our career opportunities.
