As a Platform Integration Engineer, you will work at the heart of our integration efforts, collaborating with internal engineering teams and external platform partners to ensure our systems are successfully integrated across land, sea, and air platforms.\nYou will join an exceptional team of leading experts in technology and national defence, building next-generation defence missile systems for the free world. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your contribution directly shapes how our technologies are integrated, tested, and fielded. If you thrive on solving complex engineering challenges and want to make a tangible impact on defence capabilities, we want to hear from you.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlatform Integration\nWork closely with internal engineering teams and external partners to define, manage, and verify system interfaces.\n\nArtifact Generation\nAuthor and update technical integration documentation, including Integration Specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Test Plans, and Trial Reports.\n\nHands-on Integration & Testing\nConduct physical, electrical, and functional integration testing in laboratories, HIL environments, and field trials.\n\nData Capture & Analysis\nOperate diagnostic and telemetry equipment during testing, capturing and analysing data to support root-cause investigations and system verification.\n\nField Deployment Support\nAssist with the preparation, installation, and deployment of test assets and equipment at various trial locations.\n\nCross-Platform Support\nSupport integration activities across land, sea, and air programs, including hardware installation, troubleshooting, and engineering trials.\n\nWe Would Love You to Have\nEducational Background\nDegree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.\n\nExperience\nExperience in system integration, testing, verification, or validation within a complex engineering environment, ideally involving multidisciplinary hardware and software systems.\n\nTechnical Skills\nStrong understanding of system integration, interface management, and technical documentation, with the ability to support testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations in laboratory or field environments.\n\nSoft Skills\nProactive and adaptable, with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, able to work effectively across multiple programs, domains, and engineering teams.\n\nMission Alignment\nStrong alignment with our mission to build affordable and mass-manufacturable defence technologies - ensuring every euro spent moves us closer to our goal.\n\nSecurity Clearance\nWillingness to undergo a background check as a condition of employment.\n\nOur Values\nOur mission is ambitious, and it takes a team that works with the same intensity.\nOwn the Mission: Mission first. Always.\nWe choose impact - we focus on what moves the mission forward fastest instead of “nice-to-haves\". We fix it now - when delays or problems appear, we step up, rally the right people, and solve them immediately. We keep momentum - when time matters, we stay focused and move forward without waiting for perfect conditions.\n\nStrive for More: Dare more. Do more. Achieve the impossible.\nWe challenge the status quo - we question, test, and improve instead of accepting “the usual way.” We embrace discomfort - we step outside comfort zones and turn challenges into growth. We anticipate the future - we build solutions that scale and set higher standards each time.\n\nBuild with Trust: Be open. Keep promises.\nWe walk the talk - what we say, we do. No excuses, no exceptions. We share openly - we communicate clearly and early, even when the news is hard. We own outcomes - we admit errors quickly, fix them, and prevent them from repeating.\n\nReady to Make a Real Impact?\nApply now! The deadline is October 31, 2026, but we review applications and reach out to qualified candidates continuously.","description_format":"text","description_chars":4073,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Missiles","Defense Manufacturing"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-15T17:25:59Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":15,"expected_fill_days":168,"reasons":["conf:4","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-24T06:02:35Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/frankenburg-technologies-platform-integration-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/frankenburg-technologies-platform-integration-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-24T15:43:23Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":22628,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-25T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":56194},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=56194"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Ffrankenburg-technologies-platform-integration-engineer"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Ffrankenburg-technologies-platform-integration-engineer"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Ffrankenburg-technologies-platform-integration-engineer"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/frankenburg-technologies-platform-integration-engineer\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Ffrankenburg-technologies-platform-integration-engineer"}]}
