Monitor quality of parts produced and report problems to the Process Technician, Supervisor and/or Quality Manager. Assign operators to machines and train as needed.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOrient, train, and coach new operators utilizing proper documentation. \nPerform QC checks every two hours. \nComplete start-up inspection of parts at beginning of the shift. \nEnsure correct paperwork is at the machines. \no QC Sheet\no Set up sheet\no Correct sample\no Production labels\nSupport and pack machines running without operators. \nEnsure data is entered into the production system during shift. \nEnsure accuracy of operator paperwork. \nGive breaks at machines as needed. \nAt shift change, communicate with next shift Lead problems or potential problems during shift. Assist with changeovers by ensuring that all support equipment is at the molding machines and help maintain them. \nFollow nonconforming product/reject procedure for defective parts. \nResponsible organization of work areas, housekeeping is maintained, and work areas and machines are clean from dirt and debris. \nSustain 5S policy. Perform rework/reclaim as needed. \nFollow safety rules. Perform other duties as required. \n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThis position has limited supervisory responsibilities.\n\nSkills Knowledge and Expertise\n\nSkills and Abilities Communicate verbally and read and write in English. \nAbility to lift up to 25 lbs and good eyesight. \nAbility to establish priorities, work independently, and meet objectives without constant supervision. \nAbility to work with others and utilize effective problem-solving techniques. \n\n EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\n\n Equivalent of four years of high school and/or 12 months manufacturing/warehouse/QC related experience or a combination of education and experience.
