The longer-term aim is to establish reusable patterns that help engineering move towards AI-enabled development and execution.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can experiment, build, integrate and apply emerging AI technology to real business problems.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAI & Agentic Capability\nDevelop AI and agentic solutions from concept through to production.\nIdentify opportunities to improve business performance through AI, automation and intelligent agents.\nDesign scalable solutions using models, data, automation and system integrations.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and establish best-practice delivery approaches.\nAgent Design & Integration\nDesign and implement AI agents and automated workflows that support decision-making and business processes.\nIntegrate agents with internal and external systems, including emerging frameworks such as MCP.\nBuild feedback mechanisms to continuously improve performance and adoption.\nBusiness Process Transformation\nWorking closely with business teams, this role will redesign processes and embed AI-enabled ways of working.\nIdentify and transform manual or inefficient processes through AI and automation.\nTranslate business requirements into practical technical solutions and support adoption.\nMeasure impact and drive continuous improvement.\nTeam Leadership\nLead and develop the AI and automation capability, setting priorities, standards and ways of working.\nCoach team members and support the growth of the function over time.\nAI Governance & Control\nEstablish appropriate governance, testing and validation standards without limiting innovation.\nMonitor AI performance, security, access controls and outcomes, ensuring effective human oversight.\nApply responsible AI principles, auditability and ongoing maintenance.\n Essential Experience\nLeading AI, automation or intelligent technology initiatives.\nMicrosoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure or Azure AI.\nBuilding and deploying AI-enabled applications.\nStrong understanding of LLMs, generative AI, agents and orchestration.\nExperience with APIs, integrations and AI-enabled workflows.\nTranslating business processes into technical solutions.\nLeading technical teams and managing senior stakeholders.\nWorking in Agile or product development environments.\nExperience with data platforms or data warehousing solutions.\nDesirable Experience\nSnowflake, RAG, MCP or similar agent integration technologies.\nAI governance, orchestration frameworks or feedback-driven systems.\nFinancial services, fintech or regulated environments.\nReducing manual processes through automation.\n As FGFS is within a regulated environment any offer is subject to satisfactory background checks including criminal record check, credit check, and employment references.\nAlong with your benefits package we also offer a wide range of perks for our colleagues:\nFrasers Champion- Our employees are at the heart of our business and we ensure individuals are recognised every single month for their hard work.
