We are most excited to maintain our position as No1 Savile Row and would like to attract others who share this dynamic enthusiasm for the brand.\nWe believe in nurturing the talent of our employees and developing their skills.\n Purpose of the role:\nTo effectively support the Store Manager in the day-to-day management of the store, with particular focus on the RTW department, impacting the growth and profitability of this part of the business. Playing a key role in driving the customer service levels, team development and retention, communication, and retail standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nFinancial Targets\nTo assist the SM in communicating the financial targets/performance to the rest of the team.\nTo support the sales team in achieving their individual targets\nTo support the SM in improving the performance through business development initiatives, and key relationship building.\nTo complete weekly trade report, including key anecdotal information and missed sales/potential opportunities\nTo ensure tailoring related costs are kept in line, monitoring monthly and taking immediate action if escalating.\nTeam Management\nTo manage the sales floor team performance in all aspects, including service, communication, brand awareness, product knowledge and visual merchandising standards.\nTo ensure the team are carrying out effective, and only necessary, alterations on garments, and that the correct cost is charged on NAV to the customer\nTo participate in a weekly meeting with the SM to discuss staff performance, training needs and set objectives for the coming week.\nTo hold monthly performance reviews with the team and feedback information to the SM\nTo work with the SM to review and implement an effective weekly training schedule\nTo effectively support the SM with recruitment, induction, training, discipline, and appraisals.\nTo maintain close communication with the company’s HR representative.\nTo ensure all staff are well presented and portray the appropriate company image incorporating the brand values\nTo have a good knowledge of company employment expectations, and manage staff performance, with of the support of SM and HR, understanding when, and how quickly, to escalate issues regarding individual performance or behaviour\nStock Management and Security\nTo carry out daily floor walks to ensure visual excellence and compliance with H&S/Company procedures\nTo ensure that the store has the correct levels of stock available, and that replenishment is carried out throughout the day\nTo manage the risks of external and internal theft\nTo assist the OM in ensuring the weekly cycle counts are executed and results are escalated to SM and communicated to team. Prompt action plan and training put in place to address poor results. \nTo oversee team deployment, lunches/breaks, maximise opportunities at quiet and peak times, ensure the shop floor standards are maintained and that the recovery of the store is completed at close of business\nTo ensure the shop floor layout is always commercially led, with exceptional standards and presentation\nTo ensure that the store is opened on time, and securely locked and alarmed, by the security company. Any adhoc requirements are communicated to the relevant parties.\nTo support the SM with instore events, ensuring they are well prepared and executed\nCustomer Service\nTo lead by example by treating every client with respect and care, ensuring this is upheld across the wider team.\nTo deal with customer enquiries and issues promptly and professionally, within a 24-hour timeframe.\nTo ensure any written communication is carried out professionally, with attention to detail, and due diligence performed.\nTo continuously review customer service standards across the store, ensuring issues are addressed promptly, and improvements made.\nTo solve problems and trouble shoot. Dealing with queries and complications as they arise, using quick and logical thinking to solve customer needs.\nGeneral\nAny other duties as outlined from time to time by the SM\nEnsure that bar and all other hosting supplies are kept well stocked\nLook after any VIP’s and book any space accordingly\nWork with all appropriate departments to arrange any in store events\nProvide any required refreshments (food and drink) to all retail and corporate guests \n Requirements\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience in luxury retail, ideally menswear, at a Department Manager/Assistant Manager level or previously a Store Manager of a smaller store.\nClear, concise, polite communication essential\nPassionate about of all things tailoring, with a desire to increase this knowledge.\nProficient in
