Working with Engineers carrying out PPMs on machinery and equipment on site, while developing skills through performing maintenance and repair tasks\nResponsibilities:\nTo spend each day carrying out a variety of planned and reactive work on a large-scale retail warehouse site. \nInstalls, maintains, and commissions mechanical (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) and electrical (power, lighting) systems in buildings to ensure they are safe and compliant \nTrouble shooting on Projects and Jobs \nLeading the practical application of technical works \nSupport with Contractor works and oversee contractor compliance \nSupervise the installation and maintenance of building systems like HVAC, lighting, power, and plumbing. \nCarrying out reactive and planned works related to electrical, mechanical and multi trade \nSupervising the technicians and providing support in their daily tasks \nWorking with skilled professionals within department \nAdministration of any software systems used by the group. \nDealing with warehouse associates, contractors, suppliers and various internal departments where works cross over \nSupport in small scale project work and when required. \nTesting and diagnosing equipment and devices \nSupporting the wider group facilities team. \nAssisting where operationally required with any task as per the needs of the business. \n Experience of working in a warehouse/large scale site environment dealing with all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance that affect the daily, weekly, monthly and longer term running of the site. \nPASMA, IPAF, ladder safety, or working at height training. \nNVQ 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification within MEP \n5 + years working experience within MEP or multi trade \nUp to date 18th Edition \nUnderstanding and experience working with hand and power tools \nAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse environment \nAdaptable and receptive to new ideas from any source. Willing and able to adjust to changing demands and circumstances. \nSkilled and intuitive in identifying solutions to problems. Uses the expertise, skills and experience of others as appropriate. \nIndependent, self-reliant, enthusiastic, and determined.
