This role ensures the club operates safely, efficiently, and profitably while delivering an exceptional member and guest experience.\nThe successful candidate will lead and develop their team, drive membership growth and retention, maintain the highest standards of health and safety, and ensure the club consistently achieves its financial and operational objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperational Management\nLead the day-to-day operation of the club.\nEnsure all daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists are completed.\nMaintain exceptional facility standards across courts, reception, changing facilities, hospitality areas, and external spaces.\nManage supplier relationships and service contracts.\nEnsure all equipment and facilities remain fully operational and safe.\nOversee maintenance reporting and resolution of defects.\nCommercial Performance\nDeliver club revenue, membership, and profitability targets.\nAnalyse club KPI performance and implement action plans where required.\nDrive membership sales, retention, and ancillary revenue opportunities.\nMaximise court occupancy and event participation.\nSupport marketing campaigns and local business partnerships.\nDevelop community engagement initiatives to grow awareness and usage of the club.\nTeam Leadership\nRecruit, train, develop, and retain high-performing team members.\nConduct regular one-to-one meetings and performance reviews.\nCreate a positive culture built around accountability, teamwork, and member experience.\nEnsure all team members complete required training programmes.\nManage scheduling and labour costs effectively.\nMember Experience\nDeliver outstanding customer service standards throughout the club.\nActively engage with members to gather feedback and improve satisfaction.\nResolve complaints professionally and efficiently.\nBuild a strong community atmosphere through events, competitions, and social activities.\nEnsure new members receive an excellent onboarding experience.\nHealth, Safety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with all company policies and procedures.\nMaintain excellent health and safety standards at all times.\nComplete and review risk assessments.\nInvestigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses.\nEnsure COSHH, fire safety, safeguarding, and statutory compliance requirements are met.\nSupport safeguarding responsibilities in line with company policy.
