Working closely with Facilities, Automation, and Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and care in high-risk, low-usage areas within the warehouse.\nThis role requires strict adherence to company policies and procedures, including COSHH, Manual Handling, and Health & Safety regulations. You will also attend annual training on cleaning machinery and commercial equipment. Your primary responsibility is to maintain a clean, well-presented warehouse, focusing on hard-to-reach operational zones while ensuring general cleaning and waste management standards are upheld.\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate with the section manager to coordinate cleaning tasks and priorities.\nAssist in leading the team, providing supervision, and managing team members.\nOversee daily departmental activities and cleaning operations.\nMonitor team wellbeing, providing support where possible and escalating concerns when necessary.\nConduct 1-2-1 performance reviews and manage the team using KPIs.\nAdminister software systems used for scheduling and reporting.\nSupervise cleaning shifts across multiple schedules.\nProvide technical support across different shifts.\nStep in to cover the Section Manager role when required.\nEnsure all staff training and equipment maintenance align with company guidelines.\nPlan and schedule both routine and reactive cleaning tasks based on business needs.\nLiaise with warehouse associates, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.\nContribute to project work as needed.\nSupport the wider Facilities team in maintaining warehouse standards.\nConduct spot-checks to ensure work quality.\nMaintain service records and manage cleaning equipment in compliance with company policies.\nAssist with any operational tasks as required by the business.\nThis role will be day shift, 5.45am-2.45pm Rotation shift pattern\n Minimum of three years’ experience in a warehouse or large-scale facility, managing all aspects of cleaning and waste management to support the site's daily, weekly, and long-term operations.\nBackground in soft services with relevant qualifications or experience.\nProficient in operating modern cleaning machinery.\nExperience using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office 365.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to follow and convey instructions effectively.\nSolid understanding of industry standards and best practices, including:The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association (ISSA) and Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS)\nThe British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc)\nBritish Standard BS EN 13549:2001 (Cleaning services - quality measuring systems)\n\nAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.\nAdaptable and open to new ideas, with a willingness to adjust to evolving demands and challenges.\nStrong problem-solving skills, utilizing expertise and collaboration to find effective solutions.\nIndependent, self-motivated, and determined, with the resilience to sustain effort and hard work over extended periods.\n Along with your benefits package we also offer a wide range of perks for our colleagues:\nFrasers Champion- Our employees are at the heart of our business and we ensure individuals are recognised every single month for their hard work.
