This position can be based in either Leeds or Birmingham.\nThis is a senior, visible role within the HR team, managing a small Talent Acquisition team while partnering closely with Partners, Heads of Division and senior leaders across the firm. It would suit someone who knows the legal recruitment market, is comfortable operating with senior stakeholders and enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on recruitment delivery.\nThe Role:\nLeading, supporting and developing a team of three within Talent Acquisition. \nPartnering with Partners and senior leaders to understand current and future hiring needs.\nDeveloping proactive talent pipelines, particularly across specialist and hard-to-fill legal roles.\nManaging recruitment from initial briefing and sourcing through to offer and onboarding.\nProviding market insight and advice around recruitment trends, talent availability and sourcing strategies.\nDeveloping employer brand and EVP activity to strengthen attraction in the legal market.\nManaging recruitment agencies and external suppliers, ensuring quality and value.\nUsing recruitment data and MI including time to hire, source, cost and pipeline activity to drive improvements.\nReviewing and improving recruitment processes, systems and ways of working to create a more efficient and consistent hiring experience. \nAbout you\nFor this role, I’m keen to speak to experienced Talent Acquisition professionals who have worked within a law firm and understand the complexities of recruiting legal talent.\nYou’ll ideally bring:\nStrong in-house Talent Acquisition experience within the legal sector.\nExperience leading or managing a recruitment/TA team.\nExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence Partners and senior leaders.\nStrong knowledge of the legal recruitment market and different sourcing channels.\nA commercial and data-led approach to recruitment.\nExperience using LinkedIn Recruiter and recruitment/ATS systems.\nA proactive approach to talent pipelining rather than purely reactive recruitment.\nThe ability to balance strategic projects with hands-on recruitment delivery.\nThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the recruitment activity but also wants the scope to shape how Talent Acquisition operates across a law firm, improving processes, developing the team and strengthening the firm’s approach to
