This role is ideal for an accomplished tax leader who thrives in a client-facing environment and is energized by the opportunity to influence the direction of a growing, entrepreneurial firm.\nOur professionals have one goal in mind when working with clients - to help them minimize their tax liability while keeping them in compliance with ever-changing tax laws. In addition to providing consulting and compliance tax services, our professionals offer several additional services, including stock option planning and international tax advice. We also provide expert consultation regarding tax implications on investments, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and liquidations.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nServe as a trusted advisor to clients, providing proactive tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions across diverse industries and entity structures.\nReview and advise on complex individual, partnership, corporate, S corporation, fiduciary, and other tax engagements.\nDevelop and maintain strong executive-level client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand services and deepen engagement.\nLead multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring quality, profitability, and timely delivery.\nCollaborate with Partners and firm leadership on strategic growth initiatives, practice development, and market expansion efforts.\nActively drive business development through networking, referrals, speaking engagements, industry involvement, and client relationship management.\nMentor, coach, and develop tax professionals at all levels, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nStay current on federal, state, and local tax developments and communicate implications to clients and internal teams.\nParticipate in firm leadership initiatives, including recruiting, retention, succession planning, and operational improvement efforts.\nHelp shape the strategic direction of the practice by identifying emerging service opportunities, market trends, and client needs.\nLead client presentations, executive meetings, and proposal discussions with confidence and professionalism.\nMonitor engagement economics, including budgeting, billing, collections, and overall client profitability.\nEducation and Experience: \nA Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Accounting\nActive CPA license \n12+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting \nDemonstrated expertise across a broad range of tax disciplines, including corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, and state and local taxation.\n\nProficiency in tax preparation software (e.g, CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office Suite\nProven expertise in overseeing complex client engagements and delivering high-quality client service\nAbility to develop tax planning strategies for clients\nStrong business development skills with experience cultivating client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to practice development preferred\nExtensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations\nExperience supervising, training, developing, and reviewing the work of staff and senior associates\n#LI -
