This role is critical in ensuring the required assessments, handling, storage, and retrieval is completed for all records and information. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of privacy and records management principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. This position will support various departments within the Bank, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.\nThe scope of the role includes, but is not limited to:\nPrivacy:Highly engaged privacy program leader and privacy subject matter expert.\nLead local operations of the System Privacy Program\nMature and manage the local Privacy Procedures to ensure compliance with System Privacy Program requirements and standards.\nAdvise Department on Personally Identifiable Information collection, use, sharing, and minimization.\nManage the local Privacy Inventory, risk assessment, and privacy risk reduction efforts.\nLead vendor privacy assessments.\nReview Privacy Controls for local IT systems.\nSupport the local Privacy Officer for incident response.\n\nRecords Management:Highly engaged records management program leader and records management subject matter expert.\nLead local operations of the Electronic Records Management Program.\nMature and manage the local Records Management Procedures to ensure compliance with System Records Management Forum requirements.\nPerform thorough review of department’s Records Management processes and documentation to assist in ensuring accurate classification, indexing, and filing of electronic records.\nConduct reviews and inventories of records to ensure compliance with retention schedules and regulatory requirements.\n\nInformation Governance:Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT departments to establish and enforce information governance standards.\nMonitor and ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and internal policies regarding records and information management.\nProvide guidance and training to staff on records management policies and best practices.\n\nProject Management:Lead and participate in records management and privacy projects, including system implementations and process improvements.\nWork with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.\n\nReporting and Documentation:Prepare and maintain privacy and records management documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials.\nGenerate regular reports on privacy and records management activities, compliance, and system performance.\n\nExpectations and Requirements:\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience related to privacy, records, and/or information management, preferably within a regulated industry.\nKnowledge of leading privacy and records management concepts and practices.\nProficiency with governance, risk and control systems and Microsoft Office Suite.\nAbility to analyze highly complex business requirements.\nProject Management, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.\nExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support staff at all levels.\nHigh level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.\nEducation and Experience\nAssociates degree and 9+ years of related work experience OR \nBachelor’s degree and 7 years of related work experience OR \nMaster’s degree and 5 years of related work experience\n\nLocation: Cleveland, OH\nThe expected starting salary range for the Data Risk & Compliance Lead is between $111,400 and $139,200 annually.
