Join an organization where your work contributes to a greater purpose.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Senior Treasury Operations Support Senior will be a key member of the Wireroom within the Treasury Operations group in the Investment & Capital Markets Division. This position in Plano, TX primarily supports the timely and accurate processing and reporting of funds and security wires and plays an important role in reducing payment risk.\nOur Impact:\nTreasury Operations ensures cash activity is processed in accordance with regulatory and corporate guidelines for the entire company. Investments & Capital Markets is responsible for handling our mortgage-related investments portfolio, single-family securitization activities, and treasury function.\nYour Impact:\nExecute and support daily processing of high-volume and/or high-risk funds and securities wires and ACH activity in support of the firm’s business lines, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and policy adherence.\nAct as a senior escalation point for exceptions, investigations, and time-sensitive issues, coordinating with internal areas to drive same-day resolution.\nPerform and validate reconciliations with banks and clearing firms and identify recurring issues and root causes.\nDevelop, enhance, and execute departmental controls and procedures impacting cash and securities processing; recommend control improvements to reduce payment risk and operational defects.\nSupport audit/exam readiness by maintaining documentation, evidence, and control execution artifacts; assist with responses to inquiries as needed.\nContribute to process improvement efforts (e.g., standardization, documentation, metrics, and automation ideas) to improve quality and throughput.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent professional experience and 5+ years of overall relevant experience\n3-4 yrs in treasury operations, payments, cash management, or financial operations (or equivalent)\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with extensive use of Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups; ability to analyze large datasets), experience with AI tools is a plus\nStrong banking and financial industry knowledge, including NACHA processes/rules and operational payment controls\nUnderstanding of Federal Reserve payment systems (e.g., Fedwire); familiarity with securities settlement concepts is a plus\nDemonstrated strong data analysis, attention to detail in a controlled environment\nKeys to Success in this Role:\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly during escalations and cutoff-driven situations.\nStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a root-cause mindset.\nExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.\nHighly motivated with a desire to learn, adapt, and improve processes.\nCustomer/stakeholder oriented while maintaining strong risk discipline.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively across various teams; comfortable serving as a go-to resource without formal people management responsibilities.\nCurrent Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.\nWe consider all applicants for all positions without regard to gender, race, color, religion, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, physical and mental disability, pregnancy, ethnicity, genetic information or any other protected categories under applicable federal, state or local laws.
