Bring your Pega expertise to a mission where reliable, secure technology helps protect the national and the people who defend it. \nPrimary Responsibilities:\nSupport the development, sustainment, modernization, and enhancement of Pega applications and related enterprise solutions.\nDesign, develop, configure, and test Pega applications and business processes in accordance with customer requirements, Pega best practices, and enterprise development standards.\nDevelop and maintain integrations between Pega and external enterprise applications utilizing REST, APIs and other integration technologies.\nPerform application configuration, unit and integration testing, defect resolution, software deployment, and production support activities throughout the application lifecycle. \nSupport automated testing and deployment capabilities, including PegaUnit, Selenium, CI/CD pipelines, Pega Deployment Manager, Jenkins, or similar tools and technologies. \nSupport application upgrades, patches, migrations, releases, and modernization efforts, including configuration and code changes where required. \nTroubleshoot complex application, integration, performance, and production issues and identify opportunities to improve application scalability, reliability, and maintainability.\nApply security best practices within Pega applications and support activities related to vulnerability identification, remediation, compliance, and secure application development. \nSupport software developer lifecycle practices, including version control, branching strategies, continuous integration and deployment, automated testing, and release management. \nDevelop and maintain technical documentation including application configurations, solution designs, integration specifications, deployment procedures, test documentation, and operational support documentation. \nConduct peer reviews, contribute to development standards and best practices, and share technical knowledge with other team members.\nWork directly with commercial software vendors to troubleshoot product issues, evaluate new capabilities, coordinate upgrades, and implement vendor-provided solutions. \nRequired Qualifications:\nMinimum of 3 years demonstrated experience developing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Pega applications.\nWilling and able to obtain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.\nMust be willing to work on site in Annapolis Junction, MD.\nStrong knowledge of the Pega Platform and experience building model-driven, enterprise-level business applications and workflows.\nExperience with Pega application integrations, including the data transformation and mapping.\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices, including version control, branching strategies, continuous integration and deployment, automated testing, and release management.\nExperience troubleshooting Pega applications in cloud or enterprise infrastructure environments.\nExperience producing clear technical documentation and applying development, configuration, security and testing standards.\nAbility to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to evolving technical and mission requirements. \nDesired Qualifications:\nPega certification is preferred\nBachelor's degree in computer science or related field\nThe estimated salary range for this position is between $150,000-$265,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package.
