As a Platform Operations Analyst you will be a member of a team that works together to ensure FreedomPay's Platform stability and availability. This position will need to be performed out of your home office in Arizona or Nevada, and be available to work Monday-Friday shift from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM ET, while also participating in a rotating schedule that provides weekend coverage.\nPrimary Job Responsibilities:\nWork a standard Monday-Friday shift from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM ET, while also participating in a rotating schedule that provides weekend coverage.\nParticipate in a shared on call rotation to support 24/7 platform availability, including periodic off hours and weekend coverage.\nMaintain live services through measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health\nCollaborate with other team members to quickly determine root cause of any type of service degradation and look for key indicators of potential issues.\nEffectively communicate with third parties, partners, and internal teams regarding technical issues.\nUse acquired knowledge to suggest, edit, and write knowledge base articles.\nCollaborate with infrastructure and development teams to improve system reliability emphasizing reliability as a core value.\nIdentify anomalies and escalate appropriately issues identified in application and system log files.\nObtain a deep understanding of FreedomPay platform and custom application stack to help resolve issues.\nCreate new alerts to support the operations of FreedomPay production systems.\nTroubleshoot and remediate failed scheduled jobs.\nDocument and refine internal policies and procedures.\nActively adopt and incorporate AI tools and emerging technologies into daily work practices to increase efficiency, scalability, and business impact.\n\nRequired Skills and Experience:\nEducational Background: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field is typically required. \nExperience: Previous experience (preferably 4+ years) in a similar role within the financial services technology industry, transaction processing, or related area is preferred. Technical experience in web-based platform environments with related dependencies between network, database, and application layers.\nKnowledge of Transaction Processing: Strong understanding of transaction processing concepts, payment gateways, and related technologies is highly desirable. Experience in supporting real time transaction processing applications is and advantage. \nTechnical Skills: Proficiency in using and troubleshooting various Application Performance Monitoring platforms, infrastructure monitoring and log ingestion tools, such as Dynatrace, Splunk, SQL Sentry, and others. Experience in Microsoft SQL Server product stack is desired. Knowledge of API integration, data analysis, and reporting tools is an advantage. \nProblem-Solving Abilities: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions in a fast-paced transaction processing environment.
