You will run a full desk focused on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent. You will work closely with your teammates and company leadership to identify areas of improvement in the recruiting process, and will implement measures to drive innovation, efficiency, and standards of excellence within hiring practices. You will have an opportunity to recruit for a wide variety of deep-tech, operational, and leadership level disciplines, and will get to play a part in programmatic efforts such as intern and university recruiting. The right person for this role will have a “no job too big or small” mentality, an unwaveringly positive attitude, a mission-driven mindset, a team-oriented attitude, and no ego. \n\nResponsibilities:\nFull cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, hosting onsite interviews, running interview debriefs, managing offer processes, and closing \nProvide a high-touch experience throughout the recruiting process with internal stakeholders and candidates while continuously keeping the pipeline active and supporting critical, hard-to-fill technical positions \nMeet with teammates and company leadership to discuss headcount, new requisitions, hiring strategy, and/or interview feedback \nExpand on talent acquisition efforts such as organizing company tech talks, attending external events, and other avenues of getting in front of top talent \nCollaborate with teammates on employer branding strategies and campaigns \nAnalyze data, track metrics, and develop innovative ways to raise the bar on how to hire talent \nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree\n1+ years of technical recruiting experience in software, machine learning, mechanical, electrical, or similar engineering discipline\nNice to Have:\nIn-house recruiting experience highly preferred\n3+ years of technical recruiting experience\nExperience recruiting for a startup or deep tech environment\nExperience with executive search or similar low-volume, hard-to-fill roles\nExperience with pitching equity or stock options during the offer process\nAble to operate in a scrappy way, producing results without big budgets or mature infrastructures\nComfortable interfacing directly with hiring managers including Director, VP, and C-level technical leaders\nAble to manage multiple on-going projects/searches, flexible to change, and adaptable to shifting priorities\nHigh tolerance for uncertainty and “building the plane as we fly it”\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nLocation:\nWe are located in Hawthorne in a 35,000 square foot, state of the art facility featuring large open spaces for team collaboration, R&D, and production, as well as easy access to the 405, 105, and 110 freeways.
