Join Freeform as a Junior System Administrator, where you'll be responsible for maintaining the systems that power our factory, engineering teams, and business operations. Your work will include helpdesk support, on-premise infrastructure management, endpoint management, and networking. The ideal candidate will have a "no job too big or small" mentality, learn quickly, prioritize security, and be eager to take on more IT infrastructure responsibilities as the company grows.
Missions
- Assurer le support technique quotidien et la gestion des infrastructures sur site, y compris les serveurs physiques, les plateformes de virtualisation et le stockage SAN.
- Administrer et soutenir les services d'identité principaux, y compris Active Directory et Azure AD / Entra ID, et gérer les points de terminaison à l'échelle de l'entreprise.
- Participer à des projets d'infrastructure plus importants et prendre progressivement plus de responsabilités au fil du temps.
Profil recherché
- 3+ years of experience in a system administration role- Familiarity with endpoint management (Intune, application packaging, GPOs)
- Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD / Entra ID
- Experience administering Windows systems and working familiarity with Linux
- Hands-on exposure to on-premise infrastructure: bare metal servers, virtualization, SAN storage, and networking
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting AV and video conferencing systems
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN and WiFi
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work at height
- Willingness to work occasional weekends to support maintenance windows and critical operations
- Experience with Kubernetes (k8s)
- Familiarity with configuration management and infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or PowerShell DSC
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Ability to write basic scripts (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) to automate routine tasks
- Familiarity with monitoring stacks such as Grafana and Prometheus
- Experience supporting Siemens Teamcenter
- Experience working in an engineering environment, including supporting engineering applications and development tools (CAD packages, MATLAB, Visual Studio, etc.)
- Familiarity with CMMC and NIST 800-171 compliance requirements
- Ability to operate a scissor lift for racking equipment and running cable
- Strong documentation habits: tracking assets and licenses, writing runbooks and procedures, and keeping records current as systems change
- Security-first mindset in daily operations and system administration
