It’s just one reason why we’re the leader in live events.\nSummary\nThe Associate Project Manager - Show Site supports the successful on-site execution of client events by coordinating operational activities, managing show-site documentation, and providing hands-on support to Project Managers, Growth Partners, and Event Delivery teams. This role helps drive operational excellence, promote a safety first culture, ensures accurate and timely communication with internal teams and external partners, and contributes to a positive client experience on site.This position is ideal for individuals developing their project management skill set and seeking to grow within Freeman’s event operations environment.\nThis position will support our Audio Visual Production team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show site 3 days a week based out of Las Vegas, NV.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nAssist Project Managers with day-to-day on-site project coordination, including installation, dismantle, and overall event execution activities.\nSupport show-site planning by preparing production documents, floorplans, schedules, material lists, and crew assignments.\nCoordinate with internal teams-including Operations, Growth, Warehouse, Creative, Event Technology, Exhibitor Services, and Logistics-to ensure accurate and timely information flow.\nServe as an on-site point of contact to help address operational questions, escalate issues, and ensure client and exhibitor needs are met.\nAssist with vendor coordination, including deliveries, labor providers, facility contacts, and specialty service partners.\nMonitor show-site progress and help identify risks, conflicts, or delays; communicate updates to the Project Manager or Growth Partners.\nSupport budget tracking by capturing real-time labor, equipment usage, and other billable items during show execution.\nHelp maintain compliance with safety standards and support a culture of safety on site.\nSupport post-show wrap-up activities including updating production documents, schedules, labor reconciliation, and lessons-learned reporting.\nProvide exceptional service in alignment with Freeman values, contributing to a professional and collaborative on-site environment.\nParticipates in site surveys as needed to ensure proper planning of events\nMaintains a clear understanding of union & labor jurisdictions and how they are to be applied\nThis role requires frequent standing, walking, and movement across large show-site footprints\nAbility to lift and move materials or equipment up to 25 lbs as needed\nWork takes place in a variety of environments including show floors, warehouses, and back-of-house areas\nEducation & Experience\nRequired:Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn industry-specific systems (e.g., floorplan tools, project management platforms)\nAbility to travel and work extended hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays, based on event schedule\nAbility to perform physical tasks associated with on-site event work (standing for long periods, navigating show floors, etc.)\n\nPreferred:Experience working in live events, tradeshow operations, convention services, or staging/production environments\n1-2 years of experience in event coordination, operations, project support, or related field (event production, hospitality, logistics, theater, or live events preferred)\nUnderstanding of event labor models, show schedules, and venue requirements \nExposure to CAD or floorplan design tools (e.g., Vectorworks) is a plus\nInterest in career growth toward Project Manager or Event Delivery leadership roles\n\nTravel Requirements\nTravel up to 25%\nWhat We Offer\nThe Freeman Company provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
