This role involves manual billing activities, extensive cross-functional communication, and handling a high volume of change requests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.\nThis position will support our Finance team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2 days per week. This position is based out of North Dallas, TX.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nPrepare and process storage invoices for four locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.\nManage and respond to a high volume of change requests through the Samanage ticketing system.\nCoordinate with Account Managers, Warehouse Managers, and Accounts Receivable to resolve billing discrepancies and clarify billing details.\nProcess credit memo requests in accordance with the established credit matrix approval process. \nConfirm and document new clients, property disposals, property transfers, and client move-outs, ensuring that billing adjustments are processed accurately.\nMaintain detailed records of billing activities and communications.\nPrioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and operational needs.\nEnsure all billing data is accurate and complete within Google Sheets and other relevant systems.\nSupport process improvements to streamline manual billing procedures.\nAssist with ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.\nEducation & Experience\nRequired\nProven experience in billing, accounting, or finance operations, preferably in a multi-location environment.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional approach to interactions.\nAbility to handle a high volume of requests and prioritize effectively.\nAbility to commute to the office two days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and work effectively in a hybrid environment.\nAdaptability to changing priorities and a positive, professional demeanor.\nPreferred\nExperience with Google Sheets.\nExperience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.\nFamiliarity with ticketing systems, particularly Samanage.\nWhat We Offer\nThe Freeman Company provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
