The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 99-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.\nSummary\nThe focus of the Accounting Clerk is to obtain financial data for use in maintaining accounting records and compiles payroll records. This position will support the accounting team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of Toronto.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nCompiles payroll data taken from time sheets and other records, input daily payroll and edit timecards in ADP\nHandles accounts receivable and payable duties by verifying and posting details of business transactions\nProcess expense reports/cheque requests\nPrepares all revenue and payable accruals\nPrepares final accounting paperwork necessary for the month end close\nAssist employees with questions and research payroll inquiries\nMeet corporate and branch deadlines\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment for the department\nMonthly reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts\nOther duties as assigned by the Controller\nEducation & Experience\nDegree in Accounting, Finance and/or business administration from an accredited institution is preferred\nMinimum two (2) years of progressive work experience\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to communicate accounting and financial information to others\nProficient in Word, Excel, SAP and ADP\nAbility to travel in the US & Canada\nAbility to travel regularly in the GTA\nWhat We Offer\nWe offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.
