Our mission is to connect brands with customers and drive brand growth.\nSummary\nWe're seeking a Graphic Designer with solid hands-on experience to create visual assets for trade show exhibits, event environments, and experiential marketing campaigns. This role requires someone who can work independently on projects from concept through client approval, translate and repurpose client-supplied brand assets effectively, and occasionally develop original design concepts within established brand guidelines.\nThis position will support our 3D Exhibits team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Schaumburg, IL.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nDesign graphics for exhibit booths, backdrops, banners, signage, kiosks, and other large-format displays with minimal oversight\nTake client-provided logos, photography, brand assets, and style guides and adapt them effectively for exhibit and event applications\nDevelop new design concepts and layouts within a client's existing brand guidelines when no pre-built assets are available\nTranslate brand guidelines into cohesive visual concepts for physical spaces, offering creative input beyond execution\nPartner with exhibit designers, project managers, and account teams to align graphics to achieve client goals\nPresent design concepts for client review and incorporate feedback through to final approval\nAdapt and scale existing brand assets across varied booth sizes and configurations\nManage 3-5 concurrent projects under tight deadlines, moving on to new projects once files are handed off to production\nPrepare approved designs into production-ready files (correct bleed, resolution, color profiles, and file formats) and hand off to the graphic production team\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience) \n3-5 years of graphic design experience, with meaningful exposure to trade show, exhibit, or experiential marketing work\nDemonstrated ability to work with existing client brand assets and guidelines, as well as generating original concepts when needed\nStrong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)\nSolid understanding of large-format print production standards and file setup (bleed, resolution, color profiles) for handoff to a production team\nStrong working knowledge of color management, including Pantone matching, CMYK/RGB conversions, ICC profiles, and how color behaves across different substrates and surfaces\nComfortable reading and working from CAD/architectural drawings or booth renderings\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities under deadline pressure\nStrong typography, layout, and brand-consistency skills\nPortfolio demonstrating a range of exhibits, signage, or spatial design work, including examples of working within existing brand systems\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience in the Business Services industry\nAbility to operate within a fast-paced environment \nCustomer/client facing collaboration\nExperience with motion graphics or content for LED/video walls\nFamiliarity with exhibit design software (SketchUp, Vectorworks) or rendering tools\nUnderstanding of the general trade show production process (even without direct vendor coordination experience)\nAdobe Dimension or basic 3D visualization skills\nTravel Requirements\nNo Travel Required\nWhat We Offer\nThe Freeman Company provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
