This position ensures compliance of all policies and regulations to include but not limited to clerical functions, tracking and reporting, and other activities to prepare payroll.\nResponsibilities:\nWill ensure employees timecards/wages are compliant with Freeman Health Systems’ policies state and federal regulatory activities, including but not limited to Department of Labor and all applicable regulations.\nProcess assigned staffs timecards accurately, consistently and in a timely manner.\nAccurately track and report attendance, trends, and other concerns for assigned departments and communicate with appropriate leaders and HR staff in a timely manner.\nInstruct staff and leaders of proper use of time clocks as it applies to Freeman policies.\nActs as a resource for scheduling related questions, training, and profile maintenance.\nAssist employees and leaders with compensation related questions.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\nBasic computer skills with Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.\nExcellent written and spoken communication skills.\nExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.\nAbility to comprehend principles, laws, restrictions, etc. related to employee compensation and to apply the knowledge to the Health System and employees.\nAbility to multi-task, organize and prioritize workload.\nPhysical Requirements:\nNormal range of hearing.\nRequires manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator, and other office equipment.\nIt requires prolonged sitting time with frequent standing, bending, and stooping.\nWorking Conditions:\nPrimarily office-based environment with frequent interaction with applicants, employees, leaders, and external vendors.\nPosition may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement following successful completion of training and orientation, subject to organizational policy and manager approval.\nRequirements\nHigh School education or equivalent\nPreferred Requirements:\nExperience working for payroll, timekeeper, or healthcare setting,
