The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 99-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.\nSummary\nThe Senior Vice President - Financial Planning & Analysis is an enterprise finance leader responsible for leading the strategic financial planning, forecasting, budgeting processes, and performance management for Freeman. This role collaborates with Executive Leadership and business leaders to drive enterprise priorities and long-term financial performance.\nThis position will support our Finance team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of Dallas, TX.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nRecruit, develop and lead a high-performing team of FP&A people leaders and individual contributors, fostering a culture of accountability, strategic thinking and talent development.\nLead cross-functional teams on complex enterprise-level projects and drive successful outcomes through credible leadership and influence, rather than formal authority.\nServe as a trusted financial advisor to the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Leadership by providing strategic analysis, financial guidance and decision support.\nLead the preparation and coordination of Board, Executive Leadership, lender, and business management reporting, ensuring timely, insightful, and executive-reday financial communications.\nPartner with Accounting and enterprise-wide business leaders to evaluate consolidated financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations that improve results.\nChampion continuous improvement of enterprise financial planning, reporting, and performance management processes to enhance decision-making and organizational effectiveness.\nPartner with the company’s Executive Leadership to develop appropriate and effective scorecards and KPIs that align operational execution with strategic business objectives.\nOversee the financial analysis, reporting, and governance of enterprise investment initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.\nCoordinate executive presentations for Chief Officers and other key leaders.\nDevelop financial modeling and scenario analysis supporting strategic initiatives, capital investments, pricing, Buy/Lease decisions, and long-term planning.\nSupport enterprise cash flow planning and liquidity forecasting to support working capital management, capital allocation, and strategic decision-making.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEducation & Experience\nRole is strongly preferred to sit in Dallas, TX and will have a hybrid work schedule.\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.\nMinimum of ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of progressively increasing roles and responsibilities in finance. \nMinimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience leading a Financial Planning & Analysis team.\nDemonstrated executive presence with the ability to influence senior and executive leaders across the enterprise.\nThorough understanding of financial accounting and reporting required under GAAP.\nExperience leading Financial Planning & Analysis processes in alignment with strategic planning initiatives.\nAbility to create and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization, including the executive level. Ability to maintain cross-functional partnerships with all levels within the organization in a professional and competent manner.\nMust have strong analytical skills.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills required.\nPrior experience using SAP, or another ERP package preferred.\nPrior experience using Hyperion Planning preferred.\nAbility to produce clear and concise written and verbal communications.\nExcellent customer service skills.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations\nMBA or CPA or CMA a plus.\nWhat We Offer\nThe Freeman Company provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
