The Technician - Service and Systems plays a critical role in maintaining the quality, performance, and reliability of our audiovisual equipment inventory. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and refurbishing equipment to ensure it is event-ready and meets operational standards.\nThis position will support our Alford Media team. It is eligible to work an in person schedule, requiring work in-office and/or show-site 5 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of Dallas, TX.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, test, align, and repair audiovisual equipment.\nPerform preventative maintenance and quality inspections on rental inventory.\nRefurbish equipment through cleaning, painting, and replacement of damaged or missing components.\nCoordinate with manufacturers and vendors regarding repairs, technical support, and replacement parts.\nMaintain accurate repair records and inventory documentation.\nOrder and track parts and materials required for repairs and maintenance activities.\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to warehouse and event teams.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nMinimum one (1) year of experience repairing, troubleshooting, or maintaining audiovisual equipment preferred.\nExperience in live events, entertainment technology, or related technical environments is an asset.\nUnderstanding of equipment handling and workplace safety practices.\nWhat We Offer\nThe Freeman Company provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
