As a Construction Representative you will be responsible for observing construction on a variety of transportation, water and/or facilities infrastructure projects to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications.\nObserve and inspect ongoing construction work to ensure construction is in accordance with plans and specifications \nPrepare construction daily reports \nSupport other ongoing document control processes \nPrepare for and assist with preconstruction meetings, progress checks, and conflict resolution \nProvide information to project manager/construction manager to help define the need for change orders, extra work and/or supplemental agreements \nCommunicate with client, contractors, and other employees \nRead plan and specifications to be able to ensure construction is in accordance with plans and specifications \nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED \n5+ years relevant experience in the construction field serving as a construction representative or inspector \nValid and Active Driver License \nExcellent Written and verbal communication skills \nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociates degree in related field \nKnowledge of a project management information system (Example e-Builder, Buzzsaw, FNI Manager, Site Manager, etc.) \nOne or more of the following certifications: DOT technical certifications, ACI I, APWA certification, Level I NICET, or ENV SWPPP (Certifications may be considered in place of experience.) \nAbout Freese and Nichols\nAt the heart of our culture is our LEADS values (Learn continuously, Engage as family, Act with integrity, Deliver quality, and Serve always).
