Maintenance\nDevelop, maintain, and modify SuiteScript customizations using SuiteScript 2.x.\nMaintain existing custom records, forms, workflows, and scripts.\nWrite clean, efficient, scalable, and well-documented code.\nFollow NetSuite development best practices.\nEnsure customizations remain stable and compatible with future NetSuite updates.\nTechnical Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution\nInvestigate and resolve technical issues affecting NetSuite functionality.\nDiagnose SuiteScript errors, workflow failures, custom form issues, and system performance problems.\nPerform root-cause analysis to identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.\nTroubleshoot issues reported by internal users and provide timely resolutions.\nSupport technical issues affecting financial workflows, billing, and reporting.\nBug Fixes and System Maintenance\nIdentify, prioritize, and resolve bugs affecting custom NetSuite functionality.\nTest and validate bug fixes before deployment.\nMonitor custom scripts for errors, failures, and governance issues.\nHelp maintain the overall stability and reliability of the NetSuite environment.\nScript Deployment and Change Management\nDeploy scripts and customizations across Development, Sandbox, UAT, and Production environments.\nFollow established testing and change management procedures.\nMaintain version control of custom code.\nMonitor deployments to ensure successful implementation with minimal disruption to business operations.\nIntegration Support\nTroubleshoot issues involving third-party integrations connected to NetSuite.\nAssist with maintaining API connections and resolving synchronization errors.\nSupport testing following integration updates or vendor changes.\nWork with external NetSuite partners when additional technical support is needed.\nDocumentation\n\nMaintain technical documentation for scripts, customizations, integrations, and deployments.\nDocument code changes, bug fixes, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations.\nCreate documentation that supports future maintenance, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.\nCollaboration and Technical Support\nWork closely with Finance and other internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements and resolve system issues.\nClearly explain technical issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.\nCollaborate with external NetSuite partners on complex technical issues and system improvements.\nProvide technical guidance regarding NetSuite functionality, limitations, and potential solutions.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nStrong experience developing and maintaining Oracle NetSuite using SuiteScript 2.x.\nProficiency in JavaScript.\nStrong understanding of NetSuite development best practices.\nExcellent analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to quickly diagnose complex technical issues and identify root causes.\nStrong attention to detail.\nAbility to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple support requests, development tasks, and deployments at the same time.\nAbility to work collaboratively with Finance teams, internal stakeholders, management, and external technical partners.\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nBasic understanding of accounting and financial workflows, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, billing, and financial transactions.\nExperience troubleshooting third-party integrations and API connections.\nExperience working with NetSuite across Sandbox, UAT, and Production environments.\nExperience with version control and structured software development processes.\nTypical Tasks\nThe role may include:\nReviewing and responding to internal NetSuite technical support requests.\nInvestigating and resolving reported bugs and system issues.\nMaintaining and updating existing SuiteScripts.\nMonitoring production scripts and resolving execution errors.\nTesting script changes and bug fixes in Sandbox or other non-production environments.\nDeploying approved scripts and customizations to Production.\nTroubleshooting third-party integrations and synchronization issues.\nMaintaining technical documentation.\nThe workload will vary depending on active support requests, development needs, deployments, and system issues.\nHow Success Will Be
