While this date reflects our latest plans, it is subject to change, and postings may be extended or removed earlier than expected.\nWe Take Care of Our Team\nPosition offers a starting salary range of $81,000 - $104,000 USD\nPay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.\nBenefits include annual bonus program; 401k company contribution with company match up to 6% as well as non-elective company contribution of 3 - 7% depending on age; starting at 4 weeks paid vacation; 13+ calendar holidays; 8 weeks paid parental leave; employee assistance program; comprehensive healthcare plans and wellness programs; onsite fitness (at some locations); tuition assistance and volunteer paid time off; short-term and long-term disability plans.\nWhat you Drive\nMaintenance Engineering support for Assembly processes, as well as existing trans/axlre areas on an as-needed basis.\n\nReview station level drawings and BOM’s, developing recommended spare parts lists.\n\nDevelopment and Implementation of Preventative Maintenance procedures on existing and future equipment\n\nDaily Troubleshooting assistance for tooling and equipment breakdowns.\n\nDevelop and Implement tooling for product changes\n\nDevelop and Implement assembly process methods\n\nProcure equipment (work with purchasing and vendors)\n\nEquipment Certification (Gages, Torque Guns, Leak Testers)\n\nOccasional Supervision (Skilled Trades)\n\nProblem Solver\n\nTechnical Coach for Assemblers and Supervisors\n\nKeep current of technological developments in the industry.\n\nParticipate in weekend production coverage rotation with fellow CE’s.\n\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering Technology\n\nEffective oral and written communication skills\n\nHigh level of analytical ability where problems are complex\n\nHigh level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others\n\nProficient with PC hardware and commercially available software (i.e. Windows, etc.)\n\nTypical Minimum Experience Preferred (Desired Skills/Experience)\nMin 3 years manufacturing experience in an assembly environment\n\nAt least one year project management or supervisory experience\n\nProficiency with AutoCad LT\n\nFamiliar with pressing operations, including both Kistler and Promess hardware\n\nExperience programming and troubleshooting torque tooling\n\nWhere We Work\nThis position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)-\nDetroit, MI US.
