While this date reflects our latest plans, it is subject to change, and postings may be extended or removed earlier than expected.\nWe Take Care of Our Team\nPosition offers a starting salary range of $86,000 - $110,000 USD\nPay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.\nBenefits include annual bonus program; 401k company contribution with company match up to 6% as well as non-elective company contribution of 3 - 7% depending on age; starting at 4 weeks paid vacation; 13+ calendar holidays; 8 weeks paid parental leave; employee assistance program; comprehensive healthcare plans and wellness programs; onsite fitness (at some locations); tuition assistance and volunteer paid time off; short-term and long-term disability plans.\nWhat You Drive at DTNA\nManage and support facility operations across five industrial buildings located in multiple geographic locations.\nLead facility improvement projects from concept development through execution, startup, and closeout.\nDevelop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.\nMonitor capital and expense spending to ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to approved budgets.\nCoordinate contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to execute facility-related projects and maintenance activities.\nIdentify, prioritize, and follow up on facility issues, maintenance concerns, and operational requests from plant leadership and production teams.\nSupport utility systems including electrical distribution, HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, fire protection, and building security systems.\nMaintains ownership of the active security systems and necessary change management processes required by Daimler corporate.\nConduct facility assessments and inspections to identify opportunities for reliability improvements, energy reduction, and cost savings.\nEnsure facilities remain compliant with local, state, federal, and corporate requirements.\nDevelop engineering solutions for infrastructure upgrades, equipment installations, office renovations, and production support projects.\nManage contractor safety programs and verify compliance with site-specific standards.\nAnalyze facility performance metrics and recommend improvements to support operational excellence.\nSupport emergency response activities related to facility infrastructure and utilities.\nMaintain accurate project documentation, drawings, specifications, permits, and maintenance records.\nCollaborate with operations, maintenance, safety, environmental, and leadership teams to align facility priorities with business objectives.\nKnowledge You Should Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or related engineering discipline OR 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience supporting industrial facilities, manufacturing operations, construction management, or related engineering environments.\nDemonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.\nExperience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS - MaintainX).\nProven ability to develop and control project budgets and capital expenditures.\nStrong knowledge of industrial building systems and utilities.\nExperience coordinating contractors and outside service providers.\nUnderstanding of preventive and predictive maintenance principles.\nAbility to analyze technical issues and implement effective corrective actions.\nStrong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while managing multiple priorities across several locations.\nExceptional Candidates Might Have\nExperience within automotive, heavy manufacturing, or industrial production environments.\nKnowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.\nSAP experience\nExperience managing capital projects exceeding $250,000.\nFamiliarity with energy management and sustainability initiatives.\nKnowledge of NFPA, OSHA, EPA, and building code requirements.\nCertification in Project Management (PMP) or similar credentials.\nKey Success Measures\nCapital projects completed within approved budget.\nOn-time completion of facility projects and assigned actions.\nBuilding reliability and uptime performance.\nTimely resolution of plant facility requests.\nReduction of facility-related risks and compliance findings.\nEnergy and operational cost improvement initiatives achieved.\nStrong customer support and stakeholder satisfaction across all facilities.\n#LI-TN1 #LI-Onsite\nWhere We Work\nThis position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)-\nGaffney, SC US.
