Recommend design changes to optimize install labor and ergonomics.\nUtilize LEAN methods to plan new processes and work cells, and optimize existing operations aimed at eliminating waste and increasing efficiencies.\nMaintain and update existing labor standards.\nPerform time and motion studies on complex tasks using standard Industrial Engineering methods, including direct observation or engineered standards.\nAssist in the development of strategies, standards, guidelines and procedures for documenting and establishing labor standards.\nProvide engineering and economic analysis support in analyzing and designing facilities, workflows, methods, and processes. Participate in capacity planning, new equipment cost justification and make-buy studies.\nDevelop and maintain manufacturing and warehouse layouts to support new product introductions, capacity expansion, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nApply industrial engineering techniques and concepts to product and process design throughout all phases of product life cycle\nKnowledge You Should Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Process or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical education from an accredited university/college OR 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree\nDetail oriented, reliable, and self-motivated\nComprehensive knowledge of manufacturing, lean, process optimization methods and quality.\nAble to interpret engineering diagrams and develop labor estimates and/or standards based on design specifications and existing manufacturing processes.\nStrong cross functional communication and collaboration skills\nMust be well organized, able to handle multiple, detailed tasks, and work professionally with various levels of DTNA management required\nEnglish: advanced (speaking, reading, writing) required\nPosition located in Portland, Oregon \nExceptional Candidates Might Have\nExperience leading projects\nOther languages: Spanish (Intermediate) preferred; additional language(s) appreciated\nExperience with MS Excel, OneNote, MS Project and MS Visio a plus\nKnowledge of simulation applications and data visualization and analytical applications a plus \nTravel percentage required: 15 - 25% US and Mexico\n#LI-JN2 #LI-Hybrid\nWhere We Work\nThis position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)-\nPortland, OR US.
