While this date reflects our latest plans, it is subject to change, and postings may be extended or removed earlier than expected.\nWe Take Care of Our Team\nPosition offers a starting salary range of $71,000 - $91,000 USD\nPay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience\nBenefits include annual bonus program; 401k company contribution with company match up to 6% as well as non-elective company contribution of 3 - 7% depending on age; starting at 4 weeks paid vacation; 15 calendar holidays; 8 weeks paid parental leave; employee assistance program; comprehensive healthcare plans and wellness programs; onsite fitness (at some locations); tuition assistance and volunteer paid time off; short-term and long-term disability plans.\nWhat You Drive at DTNA\nDesign, develop, document, and implement new or revised manufacturing processes that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.\nAnalyze production workflows and develop equipment and workstation layouts that improve material flow, ergonomics, space utilization, and operating efficiency.\nDevelop technical requirements and specifications for tools, fixtures, gauges, equipment, and process modifications.\nSupport the installation, commissioning, validation, and production handoff of new or modified equipment and processes.\nTroubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process issues in partnership with Maintenance, Operations, Quality, and other engineering resources.\nUse structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis to resolve recurring production issues and verify that corrective actions are effective.\nPlan and conduct trials, tests, and data collection throughout process development to understand key variables and confirm process capability.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation such as drawings, process specifications, work instructions, equipment documentation, and project records.\nCoordinate technical work performed by vendors, contractors, and service providers; monitor safety, quality, schedule, and conformance to specifications.\nSupport project managers by completing assigned technical deliverables, communicating risks and progress, and helping resolve implementation issues.\nPartner with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Environmental, Quality, Purchasing, and Finance to support plant objectives and capital projects.\nPromote a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, teamwork, and customer support.\nKnowledge You Should Bring\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field, with 0 to 2 years of experience as engineer in a manufacturing environment; \nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.\nFoundational knowledge of manufacturing processes, production equipment, tooling, controls, and industrial safety practices.\nAbility to collect and analyze process data, identify causes of problems, and develop practical technical solutions.\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 business applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.\nAbility to organize priorities, coordinate resources, and make timely decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to shop-floor and business audiences.\nAbility and willingness to spend significant time in the manufacturing environment supporting equipment, trials, and production needs.\nExceptional Candidates Might Have\nInternship, co-op, or work experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, maintenance, machining, automation, or equipment installation.\nExperience with automation and machine-control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, robotics, sensors, and industrial networks.\nExperience using AutoCAD, Siemens NX, or similar 2D and 3D design software.\nExperience with CNC machine tools, assembly systems, powered industrial vehicles, tooling, and industrial support equipment.\nExperience applying lean manufacturing, value-stream mapping, standard work, 5S, PFMEA, control plans, or structured root-cause methods.\nExperience supporting equipment runoffs, capability studies, acceptance testing, or manufacturing process validation.\n#LI-LL1 #LI-Hybrid\nWhere We Work\nThis position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)-\nByesville, OH US.
